Bang Tango
Bang Tango was formed in 1988 by Mark Knight (guitars) and Kyle Kyle (bass). the additions of Joe Leste’ (vocals), Kyle Stevens (guitars), and Tigg Ketler (drums) completed the original lineup. One of the few hard rock groups in Los Angeles incorporating funk into their sound at the time, bang tango was immediately signed to MCA/Mechanic after releasing their first live record, 1989’s “Live Injection.” Released later that year, “Psycho Café” debuted to both critical and popular acclaim, solidifying the band as a hard rock presence to be reckoned with in a music scene dominated by the hair and glam metal of the time.
