The Dead Daises

Format : CD

Over a decade ago, The Dead Daisies burst onto the music scene. Their mission was to create some good old fashioned 70’s style rock, gather some of the finest musicians in the world, and have a great time keeping rock music alive. The name was inspired by an old phrase ‘pushing up daisies’ as well as the Mexican celebration ‘Day Of the Dead’, with this theme influencing the logos and artwork throughout the years.

The Dead Daisies have gone from strength to strength since the release of their self-titled album in 2013. They have released six studio albums, one live album and one covers album to a growing army of fans worldwide and are praised by the global media in an era where rock has been declared dead time and time again.

The band’s DNA includes an amazing collective of players from different generations of rock musicians, coming together over the years to create powerful music and unforgettable performances.

They’ve had some incredible one-offs and special highlights over the last decade including sharing stages with some of the world’s biggest rock bands including Kiss, Guns N’ Roses, Scorpions, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Bad Company, Whitesnake, ZZ Top, Foreigner, Judas Priest and Hollywood Vampires.

There’s been multiple headline tours throughout Europe, Japan, South and North America. They were thrilled to play for the passionate music-loving people of Cuba after the embargo lifted in 2015. Venturing to South Korea with the USO was an honour, and they felt the love playing with a 60-piece orchestra in front of a massive 300,000 crowd at the ‘Concert For Freedom’ in Poland. They’ve rocked with hundreds of thousands at some of the world’s most prestigious music festivals such as Download, Wacken, Graspop, Hellfest and Sweden Rock.

A mobile game featuring the band’s guardian Daisy was launched in 2021. ‘Daisy’s Revenge’ is the first of a planned series of digital experiences inspired by the band’s music and videos.

Celebrating a Decade Of Rock, The Dead Daisies released a ‘Best Of’ album showcasing some of the band’s favourite tracks from the last decade. In 2023 the band returned to the road with an extensive tour across the USA, Canada, Japan and Europe, performing to capacity crowds.

In 2024 the band kicked off the year writing new material in Nashville.

The Dead Daisies continue pushing forward, generating energy and taking chances to ensure that every person who experiences them has no doubt that rock is indeed alive and well.

So turn it up, enjoy the ride and ROCK with us!
